Group History
2017~2021
Before debuting as IVE, the members had various pre-debut experiences. Wonyoung and Yujin joined Produce 48 in 2018, representing Starship Entertainment. They finished in first and fifth place and debuted in the project group Iz*One, promoting until the group disbanded in April 2021. Gaeul joined Starship in 2017 after being discovered at a dance competition in Incheon, while Rei joined in 2018 after impressing judges at the Loen Friends Global Audition in Japan and later moved to Korea to train. Liz entered the company through an open audition in 2019, and Leeseo worked as a model for SM Entertainment Kids before joining.
2021 & 2022
IVE debuted under Starship Entertainment on December 1, 2021, with their single Eleven, which became an instant hit, topping charts and earning 13 music show wins—the fastest for a new girl group. In 2022, they rose to the top with Love Dive and After Like, both reaching number one on South Korea’s Circle Digital Chart.
