Plot Synopsis
The Atypical Family is a 2024 South Korean drama about Bok Gwi-ju and his unusual family, each with special superpowers except his father. Gwi-ju can travel back in time, his sister Dong-hee can fly, and his mother Man-heum has dreams that predict the future, including lottery numbers. Despite their abilities, the family struggles with money and personal issues, especially after Gwi-ju’s wife dies, leaving him to raise his teenage daughter Bok I-na, who secretly can read minds.
Their powers start fading due to modern-life problems like stress, insomnia, and unhealthy habits. Everything changes when Do Da-hae, a clever con artist, enters their lives, helping Gwi-ju regain his powers and sparking a complicated romance. While Da-hae initially plans to marry Gwi-ju for money, real feelings grow between them, facing obstacles from scheming families, dangerous situations, and time-travel challenges.
